Myotherapy

Myotherapy focuses on identifying and addressing the underlying causes of pain and dysfunction. It involves assessing the body to determine the root of the issue, developing a tailored treatment plan, and applying targeted therapies to support recovery and restore optimal movement.
A typical myotherapy session begins with a comprehensive health and movement assessment, followed by a personalised treatment. This may include a range of techniques such as joint mobilisation, soft tissue manipulation, trigger point therapy, cupping, dry needling, electro-needling, nerve activation techniques, muscle energy techniques (METs), and exercise prescription.

Remedial massage with Dry Needling

Dry needling is an effective method of releasing chronic muscle tension. It also assists withrapid recovery from injury. Dry needling can be added as an additional service to yourRemedial massage treatment.

Chi Nei Tsang

Chi Nei Tsang is a specialised abdominal massage rooted in traditional Chinese medicine that focuses on the internal organs. It uses gentle yet deep, rhythmic pressure to help release tension, clear energetic blockages, and support the body’s natural detoxification processes. By working directly with the abdomen, Chi Nei Tsang can help improve digestion, encourage healthy organ function, and assist in releasing emotional stress often held in the gut.

A Chi Nei Tsang session can also include the use of cupping on the abdominal region and is best combined with energy healing to further enhance the clearing of emotional blockages and improve overall energy flow throughout the body.

Remedial massage

Remedial massage is a therapeutic soft tissue treatment designed to assess and address musculoskeletal dysfunction and pain. It focuses on muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia, using targeted techniques to release tension, reduce discomfort, and improve circulation, mobility, and overall function. A typical session may incorporate a combination of neuromuscular techniques such as deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, electro and dry needling, muscle energy techniques (METs), and cupping to alleviate tension, reduce pain, decrease stress, and enhance range of motion.

The session begins at the feet and gradually works upward, creating a deeply restorative full-body experience. A minimum of 75 minutes is recommended to receive the full benefits of the treatment.
